The Scaliger Castle is a fortress from the Scaliger era, access point to the historical centre of Sirmione, on Lake Garda. It's one of Italy's best preserved castles. In 2019 it was the 22nd most visited attraction in Italy, with 308,459 visitors.

Borghetto is a hamlet of the municipality of Valeggio sul Mincio, in the province of Verona. It is included among "Italy's most beautiful villages."
In addition to the Visconti Bridge, Borghetto features characteristic buildings with water mills, some of which have been restored to working condition, and the parish church dedicated to Saint Mark the Evangelist. The church is accompanied by a Scaliger-era bell tower that houses a bell dating back to the year 1381.

One of the most fascinating cycle paths in Northern Italy, which with its modest difference in altitude lends itself to being suitable for people of all ages, in particular families and those who love nature. The Mincio Cycle Path runs alongside the Mincio river for almost the entire route, in particular when crossing the morainic hills. The route is 43.5 km long and the travel time for the Peschiera-Mantua cycle path is approximately 4 hours. The departure from Peschiera is very close to our B&B!
